At the end of his hornstudy in 2005, Erik started with the study HaFaBra-conductor. This study was stopped because he already had too many other activities. Meanwhile Erik has had several experiences as conductor. He conducted several workshops and conducted the musical Les Misérables in 2008 and 2009.

After some time, Erik continued his study HaFaBra-Conductor, this time as a complete bachelor at Tijmen Botma and Klaas van der Woude in Groningen. Erik concluded his study with the Gelders Fanfare Orkest with an A on the 20 of May 2017.

• Since december 2014: RK Fanfare OKK from Zevenbergschen Hoek (3th division)

The orchestras that Erik is conducting at the moment are:

• Since August 2009: Koninklijk Erkende Fanfare Concordia from Hooge Zwaluwe (3th division)
• Since April 2016: Harmonie St. Caecilia from Made (3th division)
• Since May 2017: Koninklijke Muziekvereniging Sempre Crescendo Middelharnis-Sommelsdijk (Fanfare 1e division)

Some highlights are:

• 2007:

  Organizing and conducting the musical Joseph with CHV Sursum Corda and JTS in Vlaaringen

• 2008:

  Hired as assistend conductor with the Musical Les Misérables

• 2009:

  Hired as conductor at KEF Concordia Hooge Zwaluwe

• 2010:

  Big and succesful concert with Sursum Corda and Male choir Orpheus from Vlaardingen

• 2011:

  Very succesful Them concert with Concordia “Ik hou van Hooge Zwaluwe”.

• 2012:

  Organizing and conducting the first Vlaardingen Proms.

• 2013:

  Conducting the joined training orchestras of Drimmelen.

• 2013:

  Started the stuyde Conductor in Groningen at Tijmen Botma and Klaas van der Woude.

• 2013:

  Successful Theme and Jubilee concert KEF Concordia ”Fanfare Concordia 1923-2013”

• 2014:

  Hired as conductor at the Royal Fanfare OKK in Zevenbergschen Hoek.

• 2014:

  Interim conductor at the Zuilens Fanfare Corps in Utrecht, newyearsconcert ZFC Pop(t).

• 2015:

  Muziek maakt Kunst in Drimmelen, coöperation of artist and Concordia HZ.

• 2015:

  The Story of Anne Frank with fanfare Concordia in Hooge Zwaluwe during the 4th of May memorial.

• 2015:

  My first contest; de Betuwe Cup on October 31, result 85,5pt (4th place).

• 2015:

  in December a large Christmasconcert with Concordia Hooge Zwaluwe in coöperation with ToonArt Drimmelen.

• 2016:

  At March 21, hired as conductor at “Harmonie en Tamboerkorps St. Caecilia“ in Made.

• 2016:

  Contest with the 3 orchestras, won a 1e prijs in the 3th division with all orchestras. (St. Caecilia: 81,67pt – Concordia: 82,50pt – OKK: 80,00pt)
