In June 1905, composer Santiago Lope Gonzalo was asked to compose a paso doble for a special corrida (bullfighting) in the Plaza de Toros.

He wrote a personal paso doble for four well-known Matadores:

• Angelillo for Ángel González Mazón
• Dauder for Agustín Dauder Borrás
• Gallito for Fernando Gómez Ortega and    
  
• Vito for Manuel Pérez Gómez.

Gallito's work has remained very well known and now belongs to the repertoire of many bandas. Now a renewed arrangement for Fanfare.
